Alpine Hardwood's Terms of Service

Effective Date: 11 April 2026

Alpine Hardwood ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website alpinehardwoodmn.com. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your engagement of our hardwood flooring services. By using this website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms.

Use of This Website
This website is provided for informational purposes and to allow you to contact us about our services. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated tools to scrape or copy its content.

Estimates and Quotes
Any pricing shown on this website or provided through a contact form is an estimate only. Final pricing is determined after an in-person assessment of your project and is confirmed in a written quote or contract. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Scheduling and Project Timelines
Project start dates and completion timelines are estimates based on current scheduling and material availability. We will communicate any delays as soon as we are aware of them. Timelines may change due to material backorders, weather, site conditions, or changes to the project scope.

Payments
Payment terms, deposits, and schedules are outlined in your written quote or contract. Deposits are used to secure your project date and order materials and may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered. Balances are due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Changes and Cancellations
Changes to the project scope after work has begun may affect pricing and timelines and will be confirmed in writing. If you cancel a scheduled project, we may retain the deposit to cover materials already ordered and scheduling costs incurred.

Site Conditions and Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing clear access to the work area, disclosing known issues such as moisture, subfloor damage, or pests, and removing personal items from the work area unless we have agreed to do so. Additional work required due to undisclosed or unforeseen site conditions may result in added charges, which we will discuss with you before proceeding.

Workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any workmanship warranty is outlined in your written contract. Manufacturer warranties on flooring materials and finishes are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their terms. Normal wear, moisture damage, improper maintenance, and damage caused by others are not covered.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpine Hardwood is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question.

Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photos, and logos, is owned by Alpine Hardwood and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. Photos of completed projects may be used in our marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wright County, Minnesota.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
